Professor Dr. Karl-Werner Schulte has received numerous awards for his extensive academic and institutional work. He is the only person to have received all three awards presented by the International Real Estate Society (IRES) during his lifetime. In addition, he holds honorary memberships in numerous organizations of the real estate and finance industry.

In recognition of his achievements, the University of Regensburg awarded him an honorary membership, the highest award for a private person that the University of Regensburg can bestow. In his honor and on the occasion of his 70th birthday, the IREBS International Real Estate Business School organized a symposium on the guiding theme “Real Estate Research & Practice – Past, Present and Future” as part of the 23rd ERES Annual Conference.

Already on his 60th birthday, Prof. Dr. Karl-Werner Schulte received a commemorative publication for his services with the title “Status and Development Trends of Real Estate Economics: Festschrift on the occasion of the 60th birthday of Karl-Werner Schulte”, written and edited by his scholars.
