In 2006, the leading professors and more than three quarters of the sponsors of the former EBS Department of Real Estate, as well as the EBS Real Estate Academy, moved to the University of Regensburg, where they initiated the establishment of the IRE|BS International Real Estate Business School.

With the integration of the former ebs Immobilienakademie into the IRE|BS International Real Estate Business School, which is part of the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Regensburg, the academy, which now operates under the name of IREBS Immobilienakademie, also acquired the status of an “academic institution”.

For more than 15 years, Professor Dr. Karl-Werner Schulte has made his many years of experience in real estate teaching and research available to universities, academic organizations and real estate researchers in Africa. Therefore, “African Real Estate Research” is the new focus of his academic work.
