From the beginning, Karl-Werner Schulte was the academy’s academic director. In continental Europe, the EBS Real Estate Academy pioneered the world’s leading real estate association, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), which sets high standards for professional competence and ethics in the real estate industry.
In 1992, the EBS Real Estate Academy contact course in Real Estate Economics was the first continental European course to be accredited by RICS. In addition, as a member of the Corporate Governance Initiative, EBS Real Estate Academy is committed to the “Principles of Proper and Fair Business Conduct in the Real Estate Industry.”
