
Prof. Dr. Karl-Werner Schulte
European Business School (EBS)
In 1986, Professor Dr. Karl-Werner Schulte was appointed to the Chair of Investment and Finance at the European Business School (EBS). There he founded the Institute of Financial Management, the EBS Finance Academy, as well as the EBS Management Academy and was its Managing Director and Academic Director for many years.
Professor Dr. Karl-Werner Schulte himself coined the term “Real Estate Economics”. The “House of Real Estate Economics” is the visualization of this interdisciplinary learning and research approach and a symbol for the interdisciplinary knowledge transfer associated with it for the real estate profession in the German-speaking regions and elsewhere.
EBS Real Estate Academy

In 1990, Professor Dr. Karl-Werner Schulte founded the EBS Real Estate Academy together with his wife, Dr. Gisela Schulte-Daxbök. With the launch of the academic study program Real Estate Economics in the same year, EBS Real Estate Academy is considered a pioneer in executive education for the real estate professions.
